JOB DESCRIPTION
NRW Civil & Mining are seeking a suitably qualified Trainer Assessor for a roving role to work on various sites in the Pilbara.
In this position you will move between projects as required.
To be considered for this position you require the following as a minimum:
- Experience in a similar role within the Civil and Mining industry
- Hold a current Training & Assessment Qualification (TAE40116) with Learning Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)
- Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Package)
- Experience in High Risk Assessing desirable but not essential
- At least five years operational experience for the following equipment:
- Excavator
- Tracked Dozer
- Wheel Dozer
- Grader
- Wheel Loader
- Haul Truck
- Roller
- Water Truck
- IT Carrier
Reporting to the Training Manager you will be responsible for:
- Conducting Theory / Practical / VOC Assessments (this may include ongoing training along with upskilling personnel to meet operational requirements)
- Daily interaction with crew members to assist with site safety requirements
- Ensuring compliance with the NRW Training procedure
- Training mobile equipment operators
- Ensuring personnel are fully competent on the equipment they are operating
- Assisting with site training requirements as required
