As an independently run company, they source and supply the highest quality products for AV contractors and integrators, electricians, architects & builders with the aim of bringing life changing technology into the homes & workplaces of millions. Their products have both extensive residential and commercial applications which greatly improve functionality and enhance the liveability of buildings.

Their product range includes state of the art technology such as:

  • HVAC & temperature control

The business also represents several brands exclusively in Australia, providing extensive customer support and training.

The Role

Due to an increase demand in Victoria, the position of Key Account Manager has become available. This is an entirely autonomously role which will be based out of Melbourne, servicing customers throughout the state.

The role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage a large portfolio of existing clients.
  • Grow revenue and upsell products into existing projects.
  • Generate new business through contractors, AV integrators, architects, and builders.
  • Provide technical information to end users.
  • Educate clients and their customers to the benefits of adopting new technology into their projects.
  • Launch new products to the market.
  • Promote an entire range of high-level technologies.

Your goal as a technical salesperson will be to broaden the adoption of the company's technologies to the wider market and as a product expert you'll support your customers as well as their end user clients.

The Candidate

Ideally candidates will possess some of the following attributes:

  • Experience in a similar field of residential or commercial AV solutions, building automation, smart building technologies, HVAC, security, or the wider electrical industry.
  • Proven B2B sales or technician experience.
  • A knack for picking up new technology easily.
  • The desire to work autonomously and independently.
  • A network of contacts in the AV/ security integrator or contractor industries.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong commercial & business acumen.
