  • $27 - $28 per hour
  • 38 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday

Tecside Group are currently on the lookout for a Sales Administrator/Despatch Clerk. Based out at Acacia Ridge, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client's team who specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of insulated panels.

Working alongside the Office Manager in the Manufacturing department, the primary function of this role is to co-ordinate the dispatching of all outward going goods to customers as required. With long term expectations, this is a great opportunity to cement your place within a well-established manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Sales Administrator:

  • General administration duties
  • Provide Admin & project support/assistance to all co-workers as required
  • Maintain/update client database
  • Sales/Purchase Order entries
  • Attend to client payments/debtors as requested
  • Manage fortnightly payroll for wages
  • Prepare monthly report for HO regarding debtors
  • Carry out any other duties as directed by the Office Manager.

Despatch Clerk

  • Prepare delivery dockets for the dispatch of materials ensuring all items are detailed
  • Data entry for Before and After delivery and despatch orders on the system
  • Ensure "good housekeeping" practices are observed and ensure all relevant records pertaining to orders are retained and forwarded to Accounts or processing
  • Liaise and make arrangements with transport companies, courier etc. on the efficient despatch of materials/panels
  • Provide support & assistance on transport related issues
  • Carry out any other duties as directed by the Logistic Supervisor

Requirements:

  • High School Senior Certificate
  • Sales & Client liaison experience
  • Minimum of 1 Year experience in despatch in a related industry
  • Skills appropriate to Logistics/Despatch or Warehousing
  • Ability to communicate in a co-operative manner with external and internal personnel
  • Knowledge of transportation industry
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • PRONTO System preferred (but not essential)
