The Company:
Our client is a national Wealth Management firm who offer a broad range of services such as Investment Management, Financial Planning, Superannuation and Stockbroking to their highly established client portfolio. With a strong ethos, they are all about providing an outstanding personal services to their clients ensuring the best outcomes.
The Role:
As a Adviser Assistant you will be supporting the Director of Wealth with all administrative and client support to ensure the smooth running of the portfolio. My client is looking for someone who takes a real pride in what they do, who has the ability to truly think strategically and who enjoys building long-term professional relationships with clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting Adviser with market trading and order management;
- Supporting Adviser with over-flow of phone calls and client communications;
- Assisting clients with general queries related to their trades and accounts;
- Preparation of documentation such as account opening and update documents, off-market/broker transfers, corporate actions, estates, super funds and trusts;
- Assist with market related administration, portfolio and transaction preparation;
- Managing the Statement of Advice process on behalf of Advisor, ensuring compliance
- Liaising with third party product and service providers regarding client queries;
- Managing the timely settlement of trades
- General support to the Advisor; diary management, coordination of meetings and travel coordination
- Previous experience within Wealth, Financial Planning, Stockbroking, Investment or Trades
- BA in Commerce, Law, Finance or Business
- RG146 compliance (or currently in the process of completing)
- Comfortable dealing with clients and build rapport
- Experience with Personal Insurances
