JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, an established national market leader in the mining, construction and resource space with contracts spanning across the country are currently seeking Advanced/Intermediate Riggers for a local construction/maintenance job at Alcoa Refinery in Wagerup.

This job is Dayshift only and would suit locals living in the Southwest/Mandurah region due to the location of the refinery.

Pay rates:

Advanced Riggers
$46.70 days per hour + super all hours + weekly payroll

Intermediate Riggers
$44.76 days per hour + super all hours + weekly payroll

Travel Allowance $2.96 per hour + super (paid all hours)

This role will be working 10 hour days Monday-Friday - No Weekend Work

THE ROLE

As Riggers you will be involved in both construction and maintenance work. As such your main duties will include pick and carry operations, rigging and dogging loads as well as providing routine preventative maintenance and repairs to fixed plant equipment.

Requirements:
  • High Risk Work Licence (Essential)
  • Drivers Licence (Essential)
  • Confined Space (Within 5 Years)
  • Working at Heights (Within 5 Years)
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening (Essential)
  • Alcoa Inducted (Advantage but not essential as there is time to get inducted)
