About the Role...

This exciting and newly created position within the Organisational Development team will play a key role in developing and embedding the Learning and Development function across City of Playford, supporting employee development and ensuring legislative training requirements are met.

Working within a friendly and supportive team environment, you will be able to bring your true self to work and together with your passion for supporting and developing others you will have the opportunity to undertake the following activities:

Supporting the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the Learning & Development function;
Coordinating the delivery, evaluation and record maintenance of statutory, mandatory, professional development and corporate training;
Provide informed responses to Learning and Development queries that connect with Organisational objectives;
Contribute to the establishment and review of processes to enable effective collection, analysis and reporting on Learning and Development data and statistics to inform recommendations;
Support the development and maintenance of the Organisation’s training calendar, with alignment to budget;
Liaise with external providers and key internal stakeholders to maximise outcomes for the Organisation;
Undertake administration duties for the Learning and Development function and provide operational support for the broader Organisational Development team as required.

About You...

We are seeking applicants who possess tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or related field, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or demonstrated experience in a similar role.

You will have an excellent eye for detail, the ability to join the dots and explore system integration opportunities across the employee lifecycle, and a passion for continuous improvement. In addition, we are seeking applicants who possess the following:

Experience in the development and delivery of relevant and contemporary Learning and Development plans and initiatives;
Experience in designing non-accredited training from concept to delivery;
Experience in the use of Learning Management Systems and data management processes;
Experience in the analysis of data and contributing towards making informed improvement initiatives and recommendations;
Ability to interpret legislation for practical application;
Proven ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders;
Ability to be solution-focused in a progressive and diverse workforce;
Strong organisational and administration skills and experience;
Passion and commitment for delivering positive customer outcomes.

Incumbents in this position may be required to possess, or be willing to gain a National Criminal History Clearance or DCSI Clearance.
