JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role:

As an Air Force Chaplain you will take on a wide-range of responsibilities in a ministry without borders. You will play an Integral role addressing the spiritual needs of Air Force personnel.

All members of the Air Force are encouraged to practice their religion, and we believe they should be given the opportunity and facilities to do so. As an Air Force Chaplain you will not only look after the spiritual needs of airmen and airwomen serving their country, but as an officer you’ll also take on an important guidance and mentoring role.

You'll work with a small team of Chaplains providing pastoral support to those engaged in air defence, search and rescue operations and emergency response. The work offers unique challenges and great variety in potentially demanding environments, and no two days will ever be the same.

Throughout your career with the Air Force you will have meaningful experiences such as supporting personnel in wartime situations and supporting communities in need.

Life in the Air Force:

There’s no career that compares to one in the Air Force. Become a part of a world-class military force that operates some of the most advanced aircraft and defence technology in the world. You can expect to work in a uniquely challenging yet highly rewarding working environment that comes with good work/life balance, competitive salary and skills for life. There’s also a sense of accomplishment and pride from serving your country and helping to keep our airspace safe.

Life in the Air Force is anything but mundane. You’ll enjoy an exciting lifestyle, rewarding career, opportunities to travel, excellent social and fitness facilities; all in a dynamic and fulfilling working environment.

Salary:

As an experienced Chaplain you’ll enjoy a tax-free daily rate from $262.19.
