One of NES Fircroft's global Energy Technology clients is looking for a HSE Project Lead to support major WA based projects. This is a customer facing opportunity which offers a long-term Perth based position. The role will work across multiple projects providing guidance to the project team on safe execution of the work scope and liaising closely with the clients.

Roles & responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Leadership to develop strong HSE culture within operational and project teams
  • Develop innovative HSE initiatives to strengthen HSE performance
  • Plan and manage HSE programs in conjunction with Project teams.
  • Work closely as part of the project team to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations and company policies and to ensure practical, effective measures are in place within the workplace and a Safety Culture exists to ensure employees are accountable.
  • Develop project specific procedures and HSE Management Plans based on regulatory and/or client requirements.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions or concerns from employees, managers and clients.

  • Thorough understanding of regulations and HSE practices.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required and min 5 years’ experience.
  • Previous Subsea project experience beneficial.
  • Corporate HSE experience beneficial.
  • Client facing experience.
