Process Worker / Recycling Sorters

Perth Recruitment Services are currently seeking dynamic self-starting Recycling Sorters / Process Workers to work for a Local Government Recycling Plant Facility located in Canning Vale.

Responsibilities will include:

• Sorting recycling on the conveyor line
• Removing foreign items from the conveyor line
• Process line work
• Site cleaning and general maintenance
• Where required, raise any safety hazards or issues with the team and a member of management

Essential Requirements:

• Current WA Drivers Licence & reliable vehicle
• Able to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
• Be safety conscious
• Be able to work within a team
• Production line and/or process line experience (Conveyors)
• Forklift Ticket, Confined Space & Working @ Heights highly desirable

This position offers an hourly rate of $33.45p/h working on a 4 days on 4 days off roster. Day Shift hours are 5.00am – 3.00pm. We are initially chasing workers on the day shift although rotational afternoon shift and potentially night shift are also available. Afternoon shift would be 3.00pm – 2.00am and Night Shift hours TBC. Shift Allowance and Weekend rates apply.
