JOB DESCRIPTION

Nubco is Tasmania's leading specialists in trade, construction and industrial supply products and we are currently looking for our next highly motivated Field Sales Representative to join our Sales team.

About the role

This position will represent the Nubco brand in the Devonport market and play an integral role in maximising sales opportunities at our Devonport Branch.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and develop an established trade customer base.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Plan and implement strategies to generate and grow sales
  • Continuously monitor and review customer base and seek out new business opportunities
  • Liaise with internal departments to respond to customer enquiries
  • Maintain a structured and effective call cycle including targeted cold calls
  • Understand customer needs to manage and meet expectations
  • Effectively communicate with all areas of the business.

About you

Our ideal candidate is ambitious with the ability to build strong customer relations, ensuring sales targets are achieved and exceeded whilst meeting customer expectations.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Experience within the steel, fastener, building or a service driven industry (advantageous)
  • Previous outbound sales and customer service experience with a proven track record of meeting KPI's and targets
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent product knowledge
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • High levels of tenacity and resilience
  • Excellent organisational and follow up skills.
  • Strong customer management capabilities
  • Current and valid driver's licence
