The Position

Based in Export Park and reporting to the Workshop Team Leader the Workshop Technician is responsible for providing market-leading support to customers by carrying out service repairs to products in the workshop, by ensuring service repairs are completed in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities

The Workshop Technician will perform a number of functions including:

  • Carry out customer service repairs in the workshop
  • Complete appliance conversions as necessary
  • Ensure allocated stock is controlled
  • Cover Field Service repairs as required
  • Maintain up to date and accurate technical knowledge

What we are looking for
  • A professional and passionate employee who is committed to being “Forever Better”.
  • EST qualification is desirable along with a current practicing licence
  • Forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
  • Skilful in proper use of tools, equipment and gauges to ensure optimal use.
  • Ability to identify and define problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, excellent time management skills.
  • A sound knowledge of domestic appliance parts and the service industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience with stock control
