JOB DESCRIPTION
The Royal Hobart Hospital is opening extra operating theatres and is seeking Registered Nurses to support this expansion. Being Tasmania’s only tertiary referral hospital ensures a wide variety of case work. The service boasts new, state of the art equipment, including digitally integrated operating theatres with in-light cameras that allow real time streaming for teaching, research and specialist consultation.

The Unit
Operating Theatre Suite provides 24/7 emergency operating theatre service as well as a comprehensive range of elective surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Duties
- To be a highly motivated and enthusiastic member of our Scrub/Scout team, delivering safe and quality patient care within our highly dynamic and supportive environment.
- To act as either the scrub role of scout role in a wide range of specialties

Period of Employment
Permanent, full time and part time, shift work (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight
Hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary
$66,421 to $91,807 per annum
- Access to the Grade 4 salary range $85,950 - $91,807 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
