We have an exciting new opportunity for dedicated and experienced Administration Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis to assist Gosnells PCYC.

Who We Are:

WA PCYC is an incredible organisation that changes the lives of underprivileged children and young people at risk in Western Australia.
We currently operate in 16 locations, with 10 regional and six metropolitan centres and numerous, Blue Light Youth Activities and Police Ranger Units across the state. Our organisation is unique through its partnership with the WA Police, and mission simple – to help all children and young people achieve their potential.

Position Profile:

Gosnells PCYC are currently seeking a part-time Administration Assistant to help manage the administration systems and processes within the Gosnells centre. Working under the guidance of the Centre Manager this role will aim to support and improve the PCYC Centre operations by ensuring all patrons receive the highest possible level of service. This position requires the successful applicant to demonstrate excellent administration skills and strong customer service skills.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Data entry and filing
  • Membership and activity fees
  • Financial management/cash handling
  • Program and activity bookings
  • Creation, maintenance and monitoring of Activity Class lists and attendance figures.
  • Management of hiring equipment
  • Assistance with set-up and pull-down of equipment for activities
  • Telephone operation
  • Other general administrative tasks

To be successful in this role:
  • Be available from 3:30pm - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • Experience in providing administration and office support
  • Demonstrates computing skills using a range of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working in a busy and demanding customer service environment
  • Experience in retail management including cash handling and customer service
  • A current Police Clearance and Working With Children’s Check or willing to obtain
