About us:

We are a Sydney based business seeking a Bookkeeper to assist our business in a casual capacity 1 day a week between the hours of 9am and 5pm. We’re growing & need a super organised, experienced & talented Bookkeeper to support our Manager.

The role is located online and candidates will be preferred from the Northern Beaches.

You will be responsible for assisting with accounts processing and the weekly reconciliation of the bank account. Initially, the role will be casual up to 8 hours/week, with a 6 monthly review to consider permanent part-time employment. The hours may also increase over time as you and the business grows! Flexible hours to suit those with family and/or study responsibilities.

About you:

You must have experience with either Xero, Myob or similar accounting program & have or be undertaking Certificate III in Bookkeeping. Whilst the role is flexible, there are various deadlines to meet. You must be organised, willing to go the extra mile and have excellent communication skills.

You’ll know understand GST/GST Free/BAS Excluded; how to reconcile clearing accounts and to Balance Sheet. Accounts payable and receivable. You’ll know how to import transactions and create bank rules. You have a keen interest in systems and procedures and the opportunity to make our systems even better.
