KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 About the Role:

Cleaning Edge Solutions is looking for Business Manager to facilitate delivery of services to clients and well as ensuring day to day operations of the business are maintained under the guidance from the leadership team. The role requires efficient service delivery, compliance, training, as well as maintaining relationship with clients and stakeholders.

Service delivery:

  • Supervise staff to ensure appropriate hours are worked.
  • Ensure the daily site budget is monitored and improved by working together with the leadership team
  • Ensure timesheets are completed and approved in Employment Hero on a daily basis within set budgets.
  • Ensure chemical registers are updated on a daily basis with a major focus on usage and adhere to the Purchase Order Policy.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of PPE and Consumable stock is always available.
  • Daily Pre-op with TL's & QA.
  • Monitor and Manage Pre-Op Scores (cut up and kill area) submission.
  • Ensure on time delivery to the client on a daily basis.
  • Daily communication book entry submission.
  • Daily water temp / handover submission.
  • Daily lockout form submission.
  • Daily loose item reconciliation to be completed and uploaded into the respective folder on google drive.
  • Escalate any issues to senior management team as appropriate

Compliance, Training and Inductions:

  • Participate in staff Recruitment, Induction and training/tool box talks of operators and team leaders are conducted and completed on a timely and regular basis.
  • Ensure all employees are trained and cross trained as per the operational needs and the documents are saved in the training matrix.
  • Counselling of Staff.
  • Ensure the Cleaning Edge Code of Conduct is communicated, understood and adhered to.
  • Comply with Cleaning Edge Solutions and Clients documents. systems and processes.
  • Ensure timely, correct and complete documentation is forwarded to the head office.

Client and Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Attend weekly meetings with the Finance Team and raise any issues as well as opportunities with the senior management team
  • Liaise with client (i.e., QA, maintenance and production) on a frequent and regular basis for the purpose of solving issues/matters, being proactive and building a sound relationship with the client.
  • Record meeting minutes with client and notify Operations Manager/National Compliance Manager/Managing Director.
  • Attend any External or Internal Audits to comply.
  • Assist in the start-up of new contracts (if required). Will be required to travel.

KEY SKILLS

  • Efficient and Effective Trainer, Motivator and Communicator.
  • Good Time Management, planning, control and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of and experience in dealing with industry award staff. 
  • Self-Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience & Abilities Required:

  • Good Attitude.
  • Good knowledge of the cleaning methods, policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and being able to consult with key leadership team within the business
