About Our Client
The Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) supports Australian businesses attempting to enter or working in the defence sector. They help businesses navigate the defence landscape, provide advice on improving competitiveness to win and deliver work and provides connections between businesses and the Department as well as advice on accessing both local and international markets. The CDIC also supports Australian innovators and researchers link to the Defence Innovation Hub and the Next Generation Technologies Fund.
Job Description
The CDIC are looking to recruit a dedicated NT based Business Advisers to facilitate key industry engagement. These roles are located within all states and territories to form a truly national network and are supported by other government agencies and programs.
The Successful Applicant
You should bring a breadth of experience across the Department of Defence's procurement processes as well as having an executive-level understanding of commercial business management, ideally honed in a career that has seen you dealing with small business and heavy industry.
This not only will underline the Business Adviser's credibility in the eyes of the potential or existing supplier but will allow them to advise with commercial insights.
