We are searching for a Human Resource Manager that will care for our teams, our clients and our business partners as much as we do.
As the Human Resource Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Business Manager, Training & Development Manager (TDM) and other senior management to deliver exceptional HR results.

Human Resource Management

The role is designed to support the training & development manager in the soft skill areas that do not have direct clinical protocols associated with them. This means team and culture building, personal development and wellbeing initiatives.

Supported by a remote HR department, you have the opportunity to work directly with our teams to create the culture of a modern, inclusive and progressive workplace. You will oversee policy creation, training and implementation across 2 sites (Moorabbin and Mornington) as well as managing employee disputes and conflict resolution.

You will also be responsible for managing the administrative processes such as payroll, contract requests and performance plans.

About you

Bachelor of Human Resources or related discipline, equivalent experience may be considered
Experienced HR Management / Business Partner role - veterinary and healthcare experience may be advantageous but not prerequisite
Experience in driving cultural change, team building and implementing systems
Expertise in performance improvement plans, conflict resolution and customer complaints
Implement and manage ENPS/NPS surveys and outcomes
Provide industrial relations advice, training and support to management and employees in the interpretation of workplace laws, awards, enterprise agreement and policy
Driven, optimistic and passionate about people

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing timely day-to-day HR advice, support and consultancy to managers and team members, including job design, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, conflict resolution, workforce planning and culture.
Supporting management and team members in the interpretation and adherence to industrial agreements.
Contribute to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and frameworks, position descriptions, behavioural and skill competencies
HR admin including employee paperwork, contract amendments and overseeing the approval workflow,
Succession planning and career progression for team members
Recruitment and retention strategies
Wellbeing initiatives
