Apprenticeships Are Us Group is the largest employer of Automotive Apprentices in NSW and growing in Victoria. Apprenticeships Are Us Group encompasses our GTO Apprenticeships Are Us (https://www.apprus.com.au), our Registered Training Organisation My Trade Start (https://www.mytradestart.com.au) and our Disability Employment Service, Ostara Australia (https://www.ostara.org.au). Our group of companies help to find employment and provide training to young people in the automotive industry within our GTO and RTO as well as provide employment opportunities to jobseekers with mental health conditions with our DES provider Ostara.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of all internal and external marketing and communications efforts. Supporting each business units General Managers you will working within multiple marketing streams in accordance with a structured group marketing plan.
Based within our Parramatta head office, you work may from time to time take you to other worksites within our RTO (Auburn) or DES provider Ostara (Chatswood, Burwood & others).
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate all internal and external communications, including website, social media, emails and marketing materials to drive awareness of Apprenticeship Are Us Group and grow engagement;
- Curate content and develop weekly email newsletters and campaigns;
- Support the broader team in development and execution of marketing efforts, including marketing strategy and content development;
- Manage social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter;
- Curate and update website content, including news and apprenticeship opportunities;
- Design marketing collateral as required in line with business unit guidelines guidelines;
- Reporting of analytics for Management and Executive Team End of Month meetings
About you
- Experienced marketing and communications professional, with experience providing full marketing support within a small to medium business with a diverse customer base
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- A great eye for design, with a demonstrated ability to create professional graphics that compliment your marketing efforts (Adobe / Canva), e.g. social tiles, web banners, flyers etc.
- Experience in managing social media channels
- Demonstrated ability in working with multiple stakeholders, business units and managing competing priorities
- Strong planning and project coordination expertise
- Ability to plan and manage work independently and prioritise under pressure
- High level computer skills and ability to work with new systems or programs
- Experience in working with content management and email systems
- Experience working in an association or Not for Profit organisation an advantage but not essential
- A self-starter who's always looking for opportunities to optimise and improve
