An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for a proactive, highly engaging and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our dynamic and professional team based in Perth on a permanent basis. You will partner with the business unit’s leadership team to provide subject matter expertise and advice across the human resources discipline to support and execute organisational efficiency and increase their ability to respond to evolving needs in a more agile manner.

Your key accountabilities will be to support line leadership with the execution of:

  • Five-year workforce plan and two year headcount budget for Synergy’s managed workforce
  • Talent management and succession planning processes designed to ensure timely availability of highly receptive and responsive talent
  • Strategic placement and quick mobility of employees to serve Agile delivery of business goals
  • Identification of employees for leadership development and facilitates the use of leadership programs
  • Organisational change and culture initiatives, Reward and performance cycles, and Recruitment support
  • Facilitation an empowering learning culture that will support the organisations transformation to Agile
  • Resolution of Code of Conduct and employee relations issues through investigations and dispute resolution processes

Our ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Degree qualification in relevant field
  • Human resources generalist experience working in a unionised environment and with senior leadership
  • Proven experience in supporting organisational transformation to Agile
  • Understanding of legal and industrial background to Human Resources
  • Significant exposure to a variety of projects and initiatives across the employee lifecycle
  • Driver of innovation and agility

It is important to note that you will be required to travel to our Muja Power Station, near Collie once a week (overnight). Pool car is provided; and as such you must have a valid Class A Driver’s Licence.

In addition, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to contribute to productivity initiatives and drive organisational change.
