Your New Opportunity:

Due to our growth, we are looking for an exceptional Digital Optimisation Specialist to actively optimise aspects of the website customer journey for our clients that lead to an increase in conversion rates.

Working closely with the Optimisation Lead, you’ll be responsible for analysing quantitative customer journeys, AB & MVT experiments, qualitative behavioural data, and Email marketing data.

We're looking for a fresh-faced digital marketing analyst or UX researcher, eager to grow and upskill their digital analysis and insights skills and grow within the company.

This is a hands-on role with full ownership, a rare opportunity to be part of the exciting world of data-driven digital optimisation & experimentation.

Your Responsibilities:

Increasing Conversion Rate through Data/Behaviour Analysis & Insights:

  • As a Digital Optimisation Specialist, your main objective is to actively use data and visitor behaviour to analyze and lift our clients’ website or app performance, continually unlocking untapped areas of revenue potential and optimizing both conversion rate and UX.
  • You'll be using various analytics and website behaviour tools to find insights through process-driven analysis/research, identifying leaks in the buying journey. With a customer first lens, you will optimise features with a view to improve user engagement, acquisition and retention goals. Working with detailed online and offline data sets, you will design and execute a roadmap of experiments to improve conversion rates across web and app touchpoints.
  • You’ll use really cool behavioural tools like Hotjar and Full Story to watch session recordings of actual ecommerce customers on-site, analyse heatmaps, run user polls - all with the aim to better understand customer’s pain points.
  • Analysing performance of AB and MVT tests, to derive further insights and decisions.

Test Ideation & User Experience improvement:

  • Based on your data insights, you’ll be researching possible solutions and brainstorming them with the team.
  • Work closely with the Optimisation Lead, UX design and Copywriting teams to generate innovative and bold test ideas for design and copy, based on your insights.

AB testing co-ordination, Reporting & liaising with team:

  • You’ll work in an agile team, contribute to process improvement exercises, updating Kanban boards and project management systems.
  • You’ll work directly with our project management team, copywriters, designers and developers to produce rigorously tested, implementation-ready designs
  • Liaising with our AB testing team to brief and QA experiments.
  • Working alongside the Optimisation Lead to communicate your insights and results through impeccable client reports and presentations.

Skills we’re looking for:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a conversion optimisation or digital marketing specialist or UX researcher or insights specialist related role, agency/consultancy environment is a must.
  • You’re highly analytical, and love hunting through analytics data to find out what’s wrong and what’s working, and turning your insights into innovative strategies that drive revenue.
  • Experience digging for answers in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Exposure to multi-faceted ecommerce projects that include digital insights, analytics, UX mockups, development (AB testing a bonus)
  • Natural at using wireframing tools to generate bold and innovative ideas for webpage improvement and conversion.
  • Picky with design. You have an eye for design detail and can recognise good website and app design/UX in seconds.
  • You can create stunning reports and presentations in Powerpoint
  • Worked with modern project management tools like Trello or Asana. Proficient in Excel
  • Bonus: Experience working with any or all of these website backends - Shopify, Magento, Bigocmmerce, Woocommerce, etc
  • Bonus: Exposure to Qualitative Analytics tools (Hotjar, etc), and exposure to AB testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, etc).
