JOB DESCRIPTION
The Barring Djinang VET/TAFE graduate program places graduates with a Certificate III or higher in jobs across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. This program creates a new pathway to public sector careers for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander vocational graduates.

Student and Staff Support Assistant
Role Description
This role will assist with providing pathway information and support to prospective Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students at The Gordon. It will support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students through the enrolment process, including online application and enrolment procedure as well as providing information on course options, course fees, fee structure and fee wavers. The role will also provide administration support to other Aboriginal Liaison Officers, track and report on Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student withdrawals, completions and post-study outcomes. A key feature of this role will be to promote the role of Kitjarra wurrun-ngeen amongst Gordon staff, students, community groups, government agencies, and education providers.

6. Ability to produce written reports, adhering to deadlines.
