The Barring Djinang VET/TAFE graduate program places graduates with a Certificate III or higher in jobs across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. This program creates a new pathway to public sector careers for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander vocational graduates.

Customer Service Officer
Role Description
The Customer Service Officer (CSO) is involved in the provision of a professional information service to internal and external customers and is the organisation's first point of contact.
This is a high quality customer service and administrative role that provides the first source of information, advice and guidance in relation to the operation of Employment; Education & Training; and Settlement.
Existing Skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and knowledgeable in the delivery of customer service
• Ability to multitask and prioritise
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Strong literacy (both verbal and written) and strong numerical skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Well-developed computer skills with the ability to operate a range of computer applications including Microsoft Office, Finance systems and databases
• Sound administration and customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to change including to learn new systems and processes as needed
• Proven experience working in a team environment

Certificate or Diploma qualification in Business, Office Administration, Accounting, Commerce or relevant field
