Finance Officer (Intelligence & Analytics)
- Salary: VPS3: $70,791 - $85,956 per annum plus superannuation
- Tenure: Full-time fixed term contract until 21/01/2022
- Location: 60 Denmark Street, Kew (flexible work arrangements/working from home)
Primary purpose of this role
This position is responsible for providing a range of financial business partnering business data analysis related services to internal
clients.
Key Accountabilities
- Under broad supervision, provide a range of financial business partnering business data analysis services and support
- Provide sound advice, guidance and support to internal clients regarding business data analysis matters
- Use negotiating and influencing skills with internal clients to achieve successful business outcomes in relation to business data analysis activities
- Under supervision, implement changes to business and management information related frameworks, systems and procedures that result in business improvements
Key Selection Criteria
- Appropriate conceptual and analytical skills to successfully undertake business data analysis activities
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills to build and maintain relationships with internal clients to achieve successful outcomes
- Ability to implement appropriate changes to a range of existing systems, tools and processes that foster innovation and capture new trends, ideas and technology
- Ability to effectively create and present the results of research and related data analysis work to a range of different audiences
- Ability to contribute effectively to the development of business data analysis related options and solutions to address moderately complex business issues and articulate reasoning on issues
