Your next opportunity

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join the People & Culture Team. We are a cohesive, customer-centric team that work hard and love a good laugh too.

You will be responsible for

  • Coordinate recruitment processes from approval to appointment, including updating job descriptions, posting internal/external advertisements, managing online candidate applications, arranging interviews, conducting reference checks and generating letters of offer
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System and ensure that vacancy status is regularly updated and that candidate notifications are made in a timely manner
  • Support the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in coaching Cluster/Area/State Managers in the effective use of video interviewing and online systems to manage candidate applications
  • Ensure that enquiries are answered in an efficient manner, enhancing the candidate experience
  • Liaise with hiring managers on recruitment processes and work with the Talent Acquisition Lead to respond and improve processes accordingly
  • Maintain the employee referral program and incentives
  • Provide content to the Communications team on new starters, role of the week and internal vacancies
  • Take ownership for the onboarding process, ensuring that all pre commencement onboarding of new employees is completed in a timely manner

As a successful candidate, you will have

  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and a focus on getting things right the first time
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Human Resource Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Support role
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn) to build employment brand and source candidates
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding phone manner and candidate management skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
  • Proven ability to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing priorities
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Capacity to engage constructively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities to achieve high quality outcomes
