About the role

As the Senior Communications Advisor you will work in partnership with the business and the Manager, Marketing to develop and deliver integrated, above and below the line behaviour change marketing campaigns to reflect organisational goals, from initial briefing, creative development and implementation through to market execution and evaluation. This role is also responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing solutions support business objectives.
  • Ensuring all activities are evidence-based and thoroughly evaluated
  • Management of external suppliers (creative, media buying, graphic design and agencies)
  • Management of campaign budgets and reporting

About you

Your communication and attention to detail skills are the key to your success in this role. You are a team orientated person you enjoys delivering, leading and making an impact with your team. Ideally you will have prior experience working in a complex organisation and will also possess:

  • Demonstrated capability in delivering effective, through the line, behaviour change campaigns
  • Significant demonstrated experience in media planning and buying
  • Strong ability to plan and manage workflow and budget, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement experience with proven ability to liaise and negotiate across varying levels of the organisation
  • Experience in government marketing and communications and approvals is desirable
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and background in intranet publishing systems ideal


Tertiary qualification marketing, communications or another related discipline.
