We are looking for a person who has mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in the car and tyre industry who wants to make a career within a new family business.

We are excited to announce that Melbourne has a new specialist Tyre and Auto Centre in the eastern suburbs and we need to employ a Motor Mechanic who will be able to:

• Perform mechanical repairs, inc. steering, suspension and brake repairs to most makes and models.
• Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Perform wheel alignments using the latest computerised wheel alignment machine.
• Replace, change, repair and fit tyres on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles using the best fully automatic equipment.
• Diagnose tyre damage & wear.
• Diagnose wheel balance problems and balance wheels using the best equipment.
• Provide a high standard of customer service in a new, professionally presented environment.

We will require someone who will:

• Be mature minded and willing to assist in developing the business.
• Have excellent customer service skills with a cheerful can-do attitude.
• Have great communication skills and work well in a team.
• Be experienced in tyre fitting and wheel alignment work.
• Be experienced in performing general mechanical repairs.
• Have a manual driver’s license.
• Be able to work Saturdays
• Have a genuine interest in the auto industry with ambition to grow your knowledge and further your career.
• Have appropriate Australian working rights.
