Secondary School Nurse

Secondary School Nurses provide holistic care to young people in selected secondary schools. The role includes health promotion and primary prevention, health education (including classroom team teaching), individual student health counselling and assessment, school community development activities and providing resources and a referral service to assist young people in making healthy lifestyle choices.

To be successful in the role you will be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team, establish and maintain good working relationships with school leadership and teachers, and network effectively with other health, allied health and youth services in the community.

A full-time ongoing position available however could be part time/ job share on going
