About the role – 12 month contract

This client-facing role involves being present at the client service desk and working with the reception team to welcome and oversee all guests to our premises. In particular, this role involves looking after our clients to ensure that all of their needs, and the needs of others attending each meeting, are met. A typical day might include:

  • Greeting clients and following COVID-safe practices
  • Visitor reception including COVID safe registration
  • Meeting room management and general cleaning
  • Audio visual support including video conferencing
  • Food and beverage service including espresso coffee service
  • Food and beverage stocktaking and ordering
  • Event assistance including set ups, breakdowns and furniture removals
  • Processing of invoices
  • Reception relief including switchboard, couriers and dry-cleaning coordination

This role requires elements of manual labour in setting up and packing down events.

Skills and experience

You’ll be agile, responsive and bring ideas to the table. You’ll enjoy making a difference to the way the team is able to support the client experience whilst in our premises. This role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Impeccable customer service mindset and skills
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, ideally in a corporate environment
  • A flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the role on a daily basis
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Strong work ethic and a genuine interest in understanding what the team does
  • Positive, enthusiastic and passionate outlook
