FE fundinfo is seeking an Account Manager with 2-3 years’ experience who possesses product and market knowledge in the Australian wealth management and funds management sector. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-growing team working in a dynamic environment that offers excellent rewards.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) based in Sydney and will report to the Head of Sales of FE Australia.

Main responsibilities:

  • Client and revenue retention. Maintaining strong relationships and ensuring the current service remains relevant or future requirements are aligned with FE fundinfo.
  • Opportunity generation. Within existing accounts via solution migration and upsell opportunities. Gaining contacts in new areas to seek out new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to assist with client training and support, including acting as an escalation to the client.
  • Working with the finance team to ensure revenue is accounted for.
  • Delivery of a strong client service offering from helping with sales pitching to closing and delivering the deal.
  • Working with legal & compliance and BDMs to ensure contracts are up to date and have been negotiated appropriately.
  • Developing a strong understanding and awareness of the FE fundinfo proposition in order that highly targeted sales campaign and product sales plans can be built.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skilled account/relationship management professional with 3/5 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally in the Australian wealth management and / or fund management sector and selling financial data and large-scale solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Impeccable relationship building and influencing skills at all levels, including key decision makers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage time effectively
  • Highly organised and ability to work flexibly to tight deadlines
  • Possess a real enthusiasm and drive to succeed.
  • Have a genuine interest in FE fundinfo’s core business.
