Job Description

We are continuing to invest in our highly regarded property research team in the Melbourne CBD.

Reporting into the Colliers National Research team and key stakeholders within the Colliers Research business, this key role is responsible for managing all aspects of research across the major Melbourne markets, with a key focus on the office sector. This includes the collection of data, preparation of reports, client presentations and engagement and providing research support to internal and external stakeholders.

This role is also responsible for the promotion of the Colliers International profile through marketing and PR activities. Integral to this key role is the ability to ensure collection of high-quality data on relevant sectors.

Outline of Key responsibilities

  • Develop key stakeholder relationships in Melbourne across Leasing, Investments, Real Estate Management, Occupier Services, Advisory and Valuations.
  • Produce insights and market commentary for both internal and external distribution.
  • Apply market knowledge and data to support the business to develop client strategies and solutions.
  • Participate in client presentations as required to support client engagement activity across the Melbourne business.
  • Collaborate on consulting opportunities with the National research team or other Colliers business lines.

Your relevant tertiary qualification will be supported by minimum 5 - 7 years proven experience in a property related role. In particular you will be strong in and enjoy:

  • Statistics/econometrics.
  • Formulating opinions and writing commentaries and summaries.
  • Presenting to groups.
  • Cultivating internal relationships.
  • Excel - charting and pivot tables.
  • Furthermore, you will be someone who enjoys networking and can demonstrate a drive to get things done, with a service first orientated approach.
