Skilled Finance Officer with Billing experience required for rapidly expanding organisation in Melbourne's East. Work From Home.
The Company
The organisation are expanding rapidly and can offer a very real opportunity for incoming employees to grow and develop within the company. Offices are located towards Melbourne's eastern suburbs but working from home is an option. Recent acquisitions have fuelled the growth for this business, and they are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Finance Officer for this opportunity.
The Role
This is a long-term opportunity which sits within the core finance team and reports directly to the Finance Manager. Interviews will be taking place in mid-late February. You will support the wider accounting team and focus predominantly on billing tasks initially:
Typical day to day duties will involve:
Manage billing for some of the companies' large corporate accounts
Liaise with Account Managers across the business
Process accounting journals
Manage large data sets
Daily use of excel (pivot tables, v look ups, sum ifs)
Support with accounts payable and accounts receivable
This role will grow and develop as the company continues to expand. We are targeting ambitious Finance and Billing Officers who want to continue on the upward curve of their careers.
It's a fast paced and ever-changing environment which requires a strong work ethic and ability to hit the ground running.
Your Profile
You will have a background in Accounting and Finance with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
Prior experience with complex billing issues
Strong excel skills
Experience working in accounts for a mid-large organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
