Our client is an established community health service provider who advocates and promotes a consumer-centred approach. They support their consumers to meet their personal health goals whilst working collaboratively with other health professionals to provide holistic, integrated care. To help them continue their important work they are seeking a Program Support Officer to work in their Mental Health and AOD Team. This role is a temporary position for 3 months and is to start ASAP.

Reporting into the Mental Health Manager and Executive of Projects, the role will be too primarily assist and support the team to deliver on their projects, programs and work plans by providing a high level of administration, research and communication support.

Some of your responsibilities will be:
Day-to-day time and diary management
Organising meetings
Agenda management and taking minutes during meetings
General Adhoc duties
Assist in the development of the project/program/work plan through structured and timely research of opportunities as tasked at Operations Team meeting.
Assist with the drafting of articles and regular communications to a variety of stakeholders
Develop draft content for stakeholder and client resources.
Administer the contractual, reporting and invoicing requirements
Follow existing reporting and evaluation frameworks to collect data
Synthesise qualitative and quantitative data into reporting and evaluation reports for review by management.
To be suitable for this role you must have demonstrated experience in a similar role and have experience in program design, implementation or administration. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate capacity to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders and marginalised and culturally diverse community members. You must have experience writing reports, and handling confidential and sensitive information. Effective time management and prioritisation skills is key as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word is key. Ideally you will have worked and had exposure working in Mental Health and AOD and or PHN.

The role will require to have a blended working environment, with some days working from home and other days working onsite at their Hawthorn office.
