Established in 1972 Mitolo Family Farms is a successful and dynamic family owned business supplying potatoes and onions for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally. Our success is attributed to the implementation of continuous improvement strategies and new innovated processes.

The RoleAs an experienced Spray Operator you will be responsible for the preparation and spraying of chemicals and fertilisers at our Riverland farms as directed. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic. You will work as part of a small and successful team and possess farm experience in a similar role. You will have the passion and commitment to do a good job and take pride in the quality of your work.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• experience in operating modern farm machinery including spray equipment, large scale tractors, harvesters with particular preference given to those with spraying experience
• good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with farm managers, agronomists and farm hand teams
• strong attention to detail and have passion and pride in the quality of your work
• basic understanding of large scale cropping
• Record keeping and WHS

You will also require the following:

• Chemical Certification
• Driver’s licence
• High Risk Forklift Licence
