About you
We are expanding and our growing Therapeutic Services team is seeking a passionate, flexible and professional Occupational Therapist for our practice. You need to have an approved qualification in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration.
The role
We are a unique practice who strives on truly meeting client needs. We engage with clients from early childhood to late adulthood and are committed to best practice and great clinical outcomes. We work closely with Foster Care services, NDIS and Medicare. Essential Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to:
- Provide center, community and home based assessment and intervention to both children and adults
- Conduct assessments and complete applications for assistive technology, and specialist disability accommodation.
- Conduct sensory assessments and provide therapy.
- Work with small groups.
- Complete clinical documentation including progress notes and session summaries, reports and emails.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the clients, families and/or carers.
Desirable Criteria
- Eligibility for registration with Medicare.
- Demonstrated knowledge in NDIS and OOHC legislation and standards.
