Job Description

The Role

Reporting into the Chief of Sales & Marketing and based in Darra, the Sales & Bid Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the sales team across all functions, including bid content, sales marketing, reporting and sales targets. The successful candidate will be highly organised and have experience in a similar sales support role. They will also have exceptional interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast growing business.

The successful candidate with start with VAE covering maternity leave (ideally commencing in March). After the maternity leave placement, there will be a possible ongoing permanent role within the business in an administrative function. We have lots of options and opportunities! 

The Responsibilities 

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Collation of tender enquiries
  • Maintaining the quotation register, sales folder and documentation 
  • Tender price request collation to suppliers and subcontractors 
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors 
  • Attend and assist the administration and recording of fortnightly sales meetings 
  • Assist with the sales handover process 
  • Creation and development of templates for the sales team including capability documents, company profiles
  • Content creation for sales presentations, tenders, expressions of interest and customer presentations 
  • Assist the Marketing Coordinator in the development of campaigns, marketing collateral and communications.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role supporting a sales team, or knowledge of the mechanical construction market
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
