A rare opportunity to influence, problem solve and innovate in a growing company:

A great opportunity has arisen in our Food and Beverage Management Team at Treasury Brisbane. We are seeking an Assistant Venue Manager in our Food and Beverage Team to support selected outlets. However there is the expectation that the successful candidate will support other outlets as required.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, responsible for the for guest care, rosters, training, coaching and developing the food and beverage team members. You will also be hands on and ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations, with the ability to work when required on a rotating roster which includes days, nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (but not limited to):

  • Review and analyse the day to day operational needs and provide feedback as required
  • Ensure restaurant operations meet budgetary requirements and make recommendations to maximise revenue and minimise costs
  • Assist in reporting as required
  • Actively promote all guest related service standards ensuring positive interactions
  • Assist with the monitoring and evaluation of service and product delivery
  • Accountable for the restaurants maintaining a guest focus ensuring outstanding customer service
  • Assist in resolving guest service queries and concerns with diplomacy and tact

About you:

  • Supervisory experience in leading a restaurant outlet
  • Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
