Marden Medical Clinic is located 6 km from Adelaide City and our vision is to keep our patients healthy and happy, offer high-quality medical support and health services. Our team is dynamic, energetic and has a common purpose in giving our patients exceptional service.

We are looking for a bubbly, energetic, enthusiastic and warm person, who has an eye for detail and is exceptionally organised to take on the role of receptionist at our Medical practices.

This is a casual position offering several hours per week. The main place of work is Marden but the successful applicant may be required to work at our other clinic in St Marys from time to time.

The Receptionist will report directly to the Practice Manager and will be responsible for patient relationships and reception duties which will include:

  • General administration and reception duties
  • Greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner
  • Taking an interest in patients as individuals
  • Responding to telephone calls and emails efficiently
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Maintaining records, including checking accounts and invoices
  • Managing appointments and communicating relevant information to patients, GPs and other health professionals
  • End of day reconciliations
  • Maintaining high team and office energy

Successful applicants must:

  • Have excellent previous medical reception experience
  • Be willing to go beyond and above the call of duty

  • Be willing to work at short notice, work weekends & be available to cover sick/annual leave

It is important that the successful candidate be experienced in using Medical Software, Best Practice or similar.
