Systems Connect (an unincorporated Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and UGL Engineering) is delivering the Line-wide Works (LW Works) package Sydney Metro City & Southwest (SMCSW) project, which will extend Sydney Metro Northwest to the CBD and beyond to Bankstown. SMCSW is being delivered through a suite of contracts for the tunnels, stations, line-wide infrastructure and systems.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Environmental Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role

Environment Coordinators play a key role in supporting the construction delivery teams and are responsible for:

  • Development and implementation of site-specific EMS documentation
  • Compliance with Planning Approvals and EPL requirements
  • Developing and maintaining Site Environmental Plans and Progressive Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
  • Develop and review Out of Hours Work Applications and aspect specific permits
  • Delivery of site-specific training
  • Aspect specific site monitoring, data collection, reporting and inspection
  • Assist LWW staff and subcontractors with environmental inquires

About You

  • Tertiary (Bachelor) degree in Environmental Management or associated disciplines would be highly regarded.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in similar Environmental space, preferably on Major Infrastructure projects, construction phase
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Have initiative, be able to work independently and have problem solving skills.
