About the role

The Business Support Officer – Helpdesk will answer and resolve queries from suppliers and internal business units regarding invoice processing policies and payment. 

The Business Support Officer – Helpdesk will be expected to work as part of the team as a whole, contributing where and when needed.

About you

Good communication and problem solving skills and a good customer service ethic are essential for this role, as the Business Support Officer primarily deals with external suppliers and internal customers, in and around all invoice queries and issues.

As our successful candidate, you will have:

  • general understanding of and experience with government financial systems and applications including the Financial Management Act 1994 and the Oracle R12 Financial System.
  • ability to develop and maintain administrative office systems and procedures.
  • advanced level of accounts payable best practices, experience and knowledge of the technical issues around ATO compliance.

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role; however, business qualifications would be desirable.
