    As an integral member of the IT services team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure Stratco’s operational requirements are enabled through reliable and well supported technology platforms. You will provide front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software and peripherals. 

    The IT Support Analyst will also perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention. This position will support multiple platforms including corporate systems, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, video conferencing equipment and others. You may be required to work independently, share information and assist others with work orders.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service in person, via phone, email and service desk system
    • Resolve service desk issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
    • Processing month-end, reporting requests & supporting data changes in ERP system
    • Desktop, network and applications support
    • Incident, problem and service request management
    • Release management
    • Liaising with third party vendors
    • Develop checklists for typical problems, recommend procedure & controls for prevention
    • Adherence to Stratco's Safety and other internal policies and procedures
    • Travel to our sites at times may be required

    Skills, Experience & Attributes:

    • Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent relevant experience
    • A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
    • Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
    • One to two years’ hands on experience working in a support or customer service role
    • Graduates with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service will be considered
    • Possess excellent problem solving skills
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Windows OS
    • Remote Desktop support
    • Printer / peripheral device troubleshooting
    • Remote support for handheld smartphones and tablets

    This position will be a 12 Month Fixed Term contract with potential to extend.
