Position Summary

About The Role

The Health Independence Program (HIP) at Werribee Mercy Hospital specialises in best practice in-centre and home based programs to help clients living within the Wyndham catchment improve their health and achieve their rehabilitation goals. HIP consists of five services, including Complex Care, Community Based Rehabilitation, specialist clinics: Falls and Balance and Continence and Residential InReach.

We are seeking a dynamic continence physiotherapist to join our team of specialist nurses and allied health staff.

In this role you will assess and treat clients living with bladder, bowel or pelvic floor associated issues such as incontinence of urine or faeces, frequency, urgency, nocturia, constipation, prolapse, pelvic pain, pain with voiding or defecation, voiding dysfunction.

  • 0.2 EFT, temporary part time position
  • Ensure performance within the team is aligned with departmental and organisational objectives
  • Working collaboratively with the team to promote a culture of client centred care with continuous feedback
  • Foster an environment which encourages relationships and communication within the team and with client/ carer

About You
  • Recognised Qualification/Degree in Physiotherapy, current, full registration with AHPRA
  • Relevant Post-graduate qualification in Continence
  • Current Full Victorian (or equivalent) Drivers Licence
  • Strong, relevant clinical skills and experience in sub-acute/ community setting
  • Demonstrated agility to change and amend work priorities and goals accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment
