Position Summary
We have multiple casual contract opportunities for suitably qualified and experienced Electrical/Mechanical Supervisors for various shutdowns across the Pilbara.
You will lead and mentor teams of multi-disciplined crews to ensure the successful completion of shutdown across the Pilbara - with a strong focus on zero harm, quality and service excellence.
Your Key Requirements For The Role Will Include
- A proven track record of site supervision within a shutdown environment
- Direct and control maintenance activities to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met;
- A proven ability to develop and maintain key internal and external relationships
- The ability to effectively manage a group of trades persons
- Excellent problem solving skills
- High level of attention to detail – strong analytical & conceptual skills
- Strong written and oral skills
- The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with a variety of stake holders at all levels
- Nationally recognised trade qualification – electrical/mechanical fitter/boilermaking
- WSAH, CSE, Fire Attack, First Aid and Section 44 tickets essential
- Front Line Management/Supervisor safety certification
- You will be a very 'hands-on' leader in the day-to-day planning, preparation and delivery of activities
- Experience in actuators, conveyors, screens, chutes, fixed plant and iron ore sites
- Experience supervising teams
- Previous experience on maintenance and shutdown projects in a similar role
- Previous experience on BHP sites will be highly regarded
- Ongoing employment opportunities across various projects in the Pilbara
