About the role

The Operations Coordinator provides delivery of high level, pro-active day to day management and administration from Brisbane to various Santos Onshore Assets and their respective Field Based Team Members, Team Leaders, and Area Managers. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role is responsible for management of all operations and maintenance field and office teams’ travel, accommodation and rosters and will support mobilisation of core personnel into and out of the field. We have multiple opportunities based in our Brisbane office working Monday-Friday.

Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for operational personnel team members;
  • Travel and accommodation bookings for 200+ personnel (Maintenance, Operations, Contractors and Production Engineering teams);
  • Roster management for Maintenance, Operations and Production Engineering, including managing over cycle, competency, inductions/training, roster change management;
  • Requisitions and receipting support for all field operations and maintenance teams;

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a logistics-focused support role ideally within the resources or heavy industries;
  • SAP experience is preferable but not a requirement;
  • The ability to work autonomously and prioritise conflicting demands;
  • Experience coordinating travel and accommodation for a large number of personnel;
  • Confident interacting with third-party vendors and using relevant software packages for travel bookings, invoicing and receipting;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment with the ability to problem solve and think decisively on your feet;
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active attitude with an appetite for continuous improvement.
