Duties:

  • Provide an advisory and support service to the HR Manager and the Senior HR Consultant whilst undertaking work with unit managers, employees and senior management within the Agency on a broad range of generalist human resource and workplace relations issues, including interpretation of Awards/Agreements and employment legislation and resolution of employee issues.
  • Assist the Senior HR Consultant with generalist HR issues for state-wide departmental groups and provide regular updates on the resolution of matters within the portfolio.
  • In consultation with the Senior HR Consultant, assist the HR Consultants in the negotiation of local industrial agreements, award maintenance, and grievance and dispute resolution.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution, or equivalent experience.
