Temporary Contract, Casual, Cairns Compliance Officer - Government Department

Hays Recruitment are pleased to support the recruitment of a new Compliance Officer to a government department based in Cairns. This is a casual position for a period of 3 month commencing in early March 2021. You will be part of a large team delivering various projects across Queensland.

Your new role
The role is responsible for delivering compliance and regulatory services across a specific program of services. You will work within a team and independently to provide accurate information and reports on movement controls and conduct risk assessments in the field. The position is responsible for accurate reporting whilst ensuring relevant information is recoded accurately and within the appropriate procedures.

What you'll need to succeed
With a background in government compliance, you will be enthusiastic about utilising your experience in a casual contract - there is some localised travel involved in the position so you must be content with this along with personal accountability to produce accurate and timely information.

Relevant experience in government compliance, risk and due diligence is essential to be considered for this role.
