Paralegal - Contracts Focused -State Govt - $48 per hour - Ongoing Role.

Work for QLD State Government in this Paralegal role focused on supporting legal contracts pertaining to infrastructure programs. This is a temporary, long term ongoing assignment working through Hays.

Your new role
In this position your role is to work as part of the team supporting the legal and projects team with contract amendments and interpretation guidance. This role will require you to work closely with internal and external stakeholders and the intention would be to build strong working relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
A legal qualification is required and ideally you will be working towards admission as a Lawyer or be on track to be admitted soon. These are very complex and detailed contracts and a keen eye for detail will be needed as well as a fast memory recall if able. To be successful you will already ideally hold some previous legal contracts work exposure across commercial and / or construction areas, preferably hold a years experience as a minimum.
