Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation.

As a Maintenance Store Person, you will be accountable for creating Spare Parts management information in SAP Plant Maintenance, procure and store Spare Parts and perform daily facilities plant / equipment checks and maintenance, and supervising contractors.


Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Create Spare Parts and Consumables Lists based on components required for Preventative Maintenance and Breakdowns
  • Prepare Spare Parts Assessment to determine Critical Spares to be procured for agreement with key stakeholders
  • Identify suitable vendors to procure PM Spare Parts and Consumable from and place vendor Orders in Business SAP/Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system
  • Populate Spare Parts details in SAP
  • Procure Receipt and Store Spare Parts in suitable Locations
  • Complete Routine checks of Critical Services and Utilities Preventative Maintenance
  • Contractor Supervision and Coordination for contracted works including Induction and Supervision and High-Risk Work Permit Issue
  • Maintain accurate records of works in logbooks, maintenance worksheets and Maintenance Management System
  • Assist Project Work, Execute New Equipment Introduction and Retirement tasks
  • Respond to Equipment Breakdowns (occasionally after hours)
  • Respond to Plant Monitoring System Remote Alarms during business hours
  • After-Hours Stand-By Process Support on a rostered basis
  • Professional Development and Routine Training
  • Spare Parts Re-stocking as required


You will have:

  • High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office computer software and SAP
  • The ability to work within an establishing system alongside a growing team
  • Quick to adapt and adopt new or changing systems
  • some experience in a similar role
  • be capable with SAP Plant Maintenance Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Demonstrated experience with Maintenance System Spare Parts Management and Inventory Control
  • Proven experience in a regulated manufacturing maintenance environment
  • understanding of a Quality Management Systems
