Experienced Community Safety Support Officer required, eastern Suburbs, 4 month contract+

Your new company
We are currently working with a Local Government in the Eastern suburbs who are looking for a Community Safety Support Officer to join their busy team. The position is required until June 2021 but has the potential to extend.

Your new role

• The role will cover a wide variety of duties including:
• Financials – raising purchase orders, receipting invoices, assist with financial management.
• Enforcement – processing infringements in accordance with State Fines, Penalties and Infringement Notices Enforcement Act 1994.
• Projects/programs – Animal renewal season, fire season, microchipping and special projects.
• Administration – telephone enquiries, sort mail, manage the city records management system, draft responses, manage customer requests, agendas and minutes, record keeping, processing licenses and applications.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Community Safety Support Officer
• Advanced computer literacy
• Customer service experience
• Understanding of government processes including knowledge of licensing, infringements, rates etc.
