The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to fulfil the CAF 37 Contract Manager position within the Air Training Management Unit (ATMU) of the Air Training and Aviation Commons System Program Office (ATACSPO). The position requires excellent interpersonal, negotiation, procurement and financial management skills.

The CAF37 Contract Manager position is located at RAAF Base East Sale and is the Platform Lead for the PC21 Pilot Training System. Working with a team of Contracting, Procurement support and technical professionals, you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of contracted services and sustainment activities in support of Pilot Training to deliver high performance outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will be adept at managing the supplier relationship with Industry contractors and stakeholder requirements of Defence capability managers to support the Pilot Training System to deliver Defence Force Capability.

About our Team
As part of the Rotary, Aerospace & Surveillance Systems Division (RASSD) within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), the Air Training and Aviation Commons Systems Program Office (ATACSPO) delivers Pilot Training, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) assets and Test and Measurement equipment (T&ME) assets in support of Defence Capability and Operations. ATACSPO is located in Regional Victoria at the RAAF Base East Sale with an office also located within the Melbourne CBD.

You will be experienced in working with multi discipline teams and maintaining constructive cross team communication as well as having the ability to manage a high workload with minimal supervision.
