The Company
The company is a South Australian family-owned business that take care in providing a safe workplace for their staff in a great environment. The position we are offering is Full Time.

The Role

  • Safely remove and reinstall all automotive glass to various types of vehicles.
  • Follow the Standard Operating Procedures set out by management.
  • Wear at all times the appropriate personal safety equipment issued to you.
  • Notify your supervisor regarding any replacement of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • At all times wear and maintain the uniform issued to you, in a reasonably clean state.
  • Participate in Work, Health and Safety Meetings associated within our industry.
  • Work as a team under the directions given out by the Front Office staff, Supervisors or by the Managing Directors of the company.
  • Windscreen chip repairs
  • Remove moulds and trims from around damaged autoglass
  • Replace windscreens, side or rear automotive glass according to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications
  • Install either pre-cut and shaped glass or glass cut with a template using flat laminated glass
  • Repair or replace damaged glass frames, moulds window winding mechanisms and door handles.
  • Work may be on cars, buses, trucks, agricultural and mining vehicles
  • The work may be carried out in a workshop or in a mobile service unit.
  • Organise stock, ordering, unpacking, checking, storing, counting.

The Candidate

  • Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the same industry.
  • Preferably someone who will be comfortable answering customer's inquiries.
  • Participate in all training modules and are expected to pass any exams to qualify for the appropriate certificates.
  • Responsible for stock in your control, unpack & repack windscreen cartons. Identify number and place stock in correct locations on shelves. Place internal stock orders ready for administration to order for you on time. Check off stock received to ensure correct quality and correct item numbers are received.
  • Preferably someone who can start work immediately.
